Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to ensure that their manuscripts comply with all of the following items. Submissions that do not adhere to these guidelines may be returned to the authors for revision prior to the review process.

The submission has not been previously published, nor is it under consideration by another journal.

The manuscript is an original work and is free from plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, and other forms of academic misconduct.

The manuscript file is submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).

The text follows the formatting and stylistic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines and Journal Template.

The title, abstract, and keywords are provided in both Indonesian and English.

The manuscript falls within the focus and scope of Sedulang: Journal of Language, Literature, Culture, and Their Teaching.

All tables, figures, and illustrations are appropriately numbered, titled, and cited within the text.

All references cited in the manuscript are included in the reference list, and all entries in the reference list are cited in the text.

References have been prepared according to APA Style (7th Edition).

At least 80% of the references are derived from primary and recent scholarly sources.

Where available, Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) or URLs have been included for referenced sources.

The manuscript has been checked for similarity, and the similarity index does not exceed the journal’s permitted threshold.

All authors have made substantial contributions to the work and have approved the final version of the manuscript.

The corresponding author has obtained the consent of all co-authors for submission and publication.

Any potential conflicts of interest have been disclosed in the manuscript.

Any funding sources, grants, or institutional support related to the research have been acknowledged.

Research involving human participants has complied with applicable ethical standards and obtained necessary permissions where required.

The manuscript has been anonymized for the double-blind peer-review process by removing author-identifying information from the main text and document properties.

The authors agree that the manuscript will undergo editorial screening, plagiarism checking, and a double-blind peer-review process.

The authors understand and agree to comply with the journal’s Publication Ethics and Copyright Policy.

Authors who publish with Sedulang: Journal of Language, Literature, Culture, and Their Teaching agree to the following terms:

Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication.

Authors warrant that the submitted manuscript is original, has not been published previously, and does not infringe upon the rights of any third party.
